Trekking Tour In Khaptad Area:
In spite of high prospect, tourism in Khaptad National Park Area is almost non-existent. However, good practice of well managed, slow paced and eco-agro cum society integrated development of tourism can generate supplementary income in this region of weak economy and marginal committees. Tourism based such type of supplementary income may help to improve the weak economy and sustain the activities of the national park.
Detail Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival in Nepal (Kathmandu Airport)
Pick up from airport, rest in hotel. Evening visit to Monkey Temple lies on the hilltop only a kilometer far from Thamel for Kathmandu evening Valley view.
Day 2:
Whole day sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley.
After breakfast you have sightseeing tour in Kathmandu Valley. The Valley is cradle of Nepali culture and civilization is the largest valley in the Midlands and certainly the most beautiful.
There are seven UNESCO recognized World Heritage Sites within 20 kms. Those are: Swayambhu Nath Stupa, Boudha Nath, Bhaktapur City, Changu Narayan Temple, Pashupatinath Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square. Today we arrange you to visit all above Cultural Center. Over night in hotel.
Day 3 – 9:
Trekking Tour
The park offers a challenging yet rewarding experience unlike any other protected areas in Nepal. Its remoteness has kept in pristine and untouched by the outside world. The flora of the park can be divided into three basic vegetation zones - subtropical, temperate and sub alpine.
In the lower altitude (1000 - 2000m), subtropical vegetation dominates the landscape. Forest mainly consists of Montana Sal, Pine, and Alder species. From 1800 - 3000m temperate types dominates the landscape.
Day 10:
Rest and souvenir shopping
Today you will spend your last day of this trip in Nepal with shopping Nepali products as souvenir for your family and friends. If necessary guide us happy to help you for shopping.
Day 11:
Drive back to KTM Int’l Airport for onward flight.
In the morning, after breakfast our airport representative will go Kathmandu Airport to drop you there. Your trip in Nepal (Trekking Tour in Khaptad Area) is completed!
